Shiloh – Tabernacle location – finally recognized as a National Heritage Site

The first capital of the ancient State of Israel – before Jerusalem – was Shilo.
The location of the Tabernacle was right on this spot – and it was the place where the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Av (the 15th day of the month of Av) originated. Today, a beautiful settlement – named Shilo – overlooks this exact spot, and archaelogical work is ongoing to uncover the ancient artifacts that were part of the Tabernacle service.
