This Palestinian mother has all the answers to all the questions she’s asked in this documentary film except for one. She doesn’t answer the question as to why she’s fighting so hard for her son Muhammed’s life if death is such a normal and accepted part of their life and culture. It seems that in spite of what she says in front of the camera, she has a decent love and respect of life. Her reality or as she calls it “religion” promotes death. But most sane and mentally healthy people have a strong belief and will for life. For themselves and for their families. Let’s hope that this natural will to live ultimately defeats the nihilistic and death glorifying culture of radical Islam, so that the future of Muhammed, his mother, their community and the world will become a better and more humane place.
