This song was made as a tribute for Ezra Schwartz, an 18 year old boy killed in Israel by Muslim terrorists in November 2015 on his way back from doing an act of kindness for Israeli soldiers. Ezra was an American citizen studying in Israel for a year abroad, and terrorists gunned him down.
Avi Beer produced this song as his debut single. The song is called ברכי נפשי (Barchi Nafshi) and was written to show appreciation to God for all that He gives us and does for us, during those times when we can see Him in our lives as well as those times when we cannot. The songwriter wants this song to help people be thankful to God for all that He does for each person every day.
