“The Temple Mount is in our hands.”
2017 marked the 50th year of the liberation of the old city of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and their holy ancient Jewish landmarks.
The day the paratroopers of the IDF stormed through the Lions’ Gate on the eastern wall of the old city of Jerusalem, there wasn’t a dry eye in the Jewish State nor in the Jewish world.
The emotion and exhilaration were overwhelming.
In 1948, the Jewish People established a Jewish State, a physical land in which to live.
But the land had its soul breathed back into it in June of 1967 as all the the Jewish nations spiritual sites were reunited with the State and the People of Israel.
This actual footage from the reunification in 1967 marks the turning point for the Jewish people.
Since that historic day, millions of Jews have visited the Holiest locations of the Jewish people.
Each and every year, hundreds of thousands of people make pilgrimages to the locations that were occupied by the Jordanian forces from 1948 till 1967.
