A star is born. Meet Israel’s Air Force new UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) “Kochav” (Star) that was created by Elbit Systems designed for long endurance tactical missions. This small starshaped UAV is only 8.3 meters (about 27 feet) long with a wingspan of 15 meters (approxomately 49 feet). Since its inception, the Kochav has been successfully used in July 2014, in Operation Protective Edge which ultimately allowed for fighter jets to destroy terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.
Other countries, such as Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Columbia and Switzerland have become aware of this momentous new aerial craft and have purchased this extremely advanced UAV from Elbit.
This new “tool” has provided Israel with more advanced technology to keep itself and the world safe from terror.
