“Simcha” the Hebrew word for joy or happiness is the way to go. In Judaism, it’s not just a word, it’s a concept. Dancing and singing play heavily into “simcha” and many times Jewish people will dance to lift their spirits.
On a more spiritual level, simcha – helps us become closer to G-d and to use our potential to achieve and move forward. What seems like a few guys out dancing on a closed I-80 road is really a way of feeling closer with others and closer with G-d. The Jewish concept of dancing includes fun and joy but takes it a step further. The dancing is really part of a spiritual process of unity with others and with G-d.
In essence, this idea of joy is valuable message to the entire world!
