The Truth About Gaza Occupation the Media Doesn’t Like to Admit

To this very day, even after Israel’s painful evacuation of it’s citizens living in the Gaza strip 9 years ago, the UN still officially defines Gaza as an Israeli occupied territory. It is irrelevant that any Israeli trying to enter Gaza for any reason would be immediately killed by the Palistinians (or perhaps taken hostage).
So why is Gaza consered to be Israeli occupied territory?
For the simple reason that the UN views all parts of the West Bank as one entity therefore it is all occupied. “…the need for respect and preservation of the territorial unity, contiguity and integrity of all of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem”. So defying all logic and sanity, Gaza, according to the UN is occupied by Israel.
This is the equivalent of saying that the Greek part of Cypress is occupied by Turkey since the UN doesn’t recognize the division of Cypress… Yet there is noone today who would actually make such a nonsensical claim.
This, of course, is not the case with Israel. And so, Gaza is occupied by Israel and thus Israel has been having a war with itself over the past several months.
