These Orthodox Jewish Musicians Are Taking The Internet By Storm

Passover song – Ma Nishtana

Join the Shtar band, a group of five musicians who immigrated to Israel from the U.S., as they sing a very new and thought-provoking version of the “Ma Nishtana” (the four questions traditionally asked by a young child at the Passover Seder). The song is a parody of “When I See You Again”, a hip-hop, wrap produced and sung by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. You wonder what made the Shtar singers pick this particular song to base their song on. By examining the original lyrics you can find lines such as “We’ve come a long way from where we began” and “Look at things different, see the bigger picture” are the essence of what Passover is about.
It’s important to pass on the ideas of freedom and becoming a nation who serves God alone, to the next generation. This is a song that helps achieve that goal with a special flair.
