This man was sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. For anyone who has
been faced with legal challenges, you know how long and tough and draining
this time can be. Yet for these young Jewish men, it took a turn they never
expected. And they have the court documents to prove it. Because as bumpy
as the road may be, we are confident that God is with us. We know that even
if something appears bad for us, God is in control. This lesson was learned
by these men, as they faced crime, broken friendships, and even death. Take
a seat and hear their story, it’s one that you’ll want to hear again and again.
Does God have a plan for each and every one of us?
Do we have the ability to change things that God has planned for us?
It would seem to me that the answers to both of the questions are Yes and Yes.
God absolutely is involved in every aspect of life that exists on this planet – even the most minute details.
And – Yes – we do have the ability to impact on that greatest gift – the gift of life – that God has granted to us.
So, for example, if God decides that we ought to live a long life of 100+ years old, we still have the power to choose to live life in a dangerous fashion, and put ourselves in harm’s way or to carefully guard the gift that God has given us.
What is amazing about this story is that it is a perfect example that shows that at no point in any specific situation or any story, does God “throw his hands up” and disregard or ignore His children.
We are all His children and He always tends to us.
Our challenge is to not forget about it and to remember to say those most powerful of all words – Thank You.
