“Why is that happening? And that story’s not getting out.” Says Allen West, a former member of the United States House of Representatives, and retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and political commentator.
West is correct. Stories about young Israeli children who are shell-shocked and bomb shelters in Israeli playgrounds just don’t make it into the media. Nobody really understands who the enemy is, and the facts about the enemy are not presented – they are treated as inconsequential. The media has presented such a distorted picture that, as West says, we have become upside down.
Not being able to identify the enemy stems from fear and ignorance. And in this case, ignorance can have severe consequences.
Allen West speaks these words at an AAH (Americans Against Hate) conference. West understands where the hate and violence emanates from. It is time for us all to point a finger and determine who is trying to eradicate western civilization. That is when we can fight those who intend to destroy us.
