The prophecies of Isaiah and Jeremiah have come to pass. The Jewish People has returned to its land. The sounds of rejoicing fill the cities of Judea and the streets of Jerusalem. God has comforted Zion, He has comforted all of her ruins. He has brought the Jewish People home to rebuild and replant.
Isaiah and Jeremiah along with the other prophets who lived during times of destruction and exile, witnessed terrible things, yet continued to prophesy about return and redemption. Over the many terrible years of exile, what kept the Jewish People going was faith in God and these very prophecies.
We have the privilege to witness what the prophets spoke and dreamed of.
Now is the time to reap what was sown with tears.
