When filming people, participants must ensure the subjects have given their consent. By submitting a video to this contest you affirm that no copyright law has been infringed on. You will be required to provide proof of authorization and/or compliance with fair use if your video contains any non-original footage, music or images.

All videos must be newly created videos that have never been uploaded to any other public platform. If someone creates a promo in violation of the above, they can be disqualified from the competition.

Videos should not invade privacy, reveal other people’s personal information or display predatory behavior. All videos submitted to the Israel Video Contest will be judged in two stages.
- Stage One – Voting Period
The voting period will begin on August 6th and end on August 13th. During the voting period, anyone can vote for your video once. In order to cast your vote, you will need a valid Facebook, Gmail, LinkedIn or Yahoo account. The top 10 videos that receive the most votes will then be sent to judges who will make the final determination on the top 10 winners. The other 6 winners will be distributed based on voting rank alone, without any further judgment. In the event of a voting tie, prize-money will be split between the winners that are tied. The 3 additional staff-choice awards will be picked following the judgment period.
While all videos that are eligible will be uploaded and embedded to the site, your video will not necessarily be posted on any of our Facebook pages or newsletters. We reserve the right to distribute content based on quality and performance. It is your responsibility to get friends and family and as many people as possible to vote for your video!
NOTE: The voting system may not work properly if one has Adblock installed on one’s web browser.
Videos that receive “fake votes” from websites such as Fiverr will be disqualified.
If a contestant wants to appeal the disqualification of a video due to “Fake votes”, it is the responsibility of the contestant to provide evidence that clearly shows that voting anomalies do not represent any form of vote buying or cheating.
- Stage Two – Judgment Period
A group of independent judges will have approximately one month to determine the top 10 prize winners. It is crucial that your video content seeks to inform, educate, and/or inspire people about the Land of Israel.

40% – The quality of the videos script and/or message
10% – The level of production of the video
5% – The amount of votes the video received on the IsraelVideoNetwork.com website during the contest

Each video may only win one prize.
12Tribe Films reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.
Any attempt by a contestant to influence the result or subvert the competition, beyond encouraging people to vote may lead to immediate disqualification. 12Tribe Films reserves the option to not select a winner or winners if entries received are judged to be of insufficient quality or quantity. If a winning entrant is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so, the video competition reserves the right to offer the prize to the contestant with the next best entry.
For any contestant under the age of 18, prize money will only be sent to a parent or legal guardian.
All wire fees incurred from transferring the awards will be deducted from the prize awarded to the winners. If wire fees exceed 20% of the total prize we will send you the prize as either an Amazon or Paypal gift card of your choice.
