Shuky Sadon, a French-American chassidic singer has taken the words of the Psalms to new heights. There is a need that all people have to connect with God, and to feel that He is with them, guiding them through the difficult times of their lives.
This clip, filmed in an Israeli studio, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Negev creates strong associations between the life of the Jewish People in Israel and the words of the song.
Yet this is also a song of every individual to God to connect and feel close to Him.
The words of this song are taken from Psalm 23 and 27:
“For Your Sake my heart says “Seek My Face”, Your Face, God I will search out. Do not hide Your Face from me – Do not reject Your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me!
