when one thinks of Israel they think of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the heart and soul of her country. This week we get to celebrate 50 years of the reunification of Jerusalem and this is something that cannot and should not be taken for granted. the 6 day war in 1967 could be argued as the most important war won in Israel’s history since the war of independence itself. If you were to walk around and ask anyone if they could imagine Israel without Jerusalem then I think the answer would be NO!
We are so lucky to have the oppurtunity to go to Western Wall and pray. Yes, the world is not perfect. We cannot yet go up onto Temple Mount and pray in the holiest place on earth BUT we must be grateful for what we can do.
