After the terrorist attack on the Temple Mount on Friday July 14, 2017 that claimed the lives of two Israeli border police officers and left others wounded, Yahya Mahamid was furious.
He’s a young Muslim from the city of Umm al-Fahm, the same city that the 3 terrorists were from. He says, “I am saddened to see they have chosen the path of violence and terrorism, instead of choosing peace.”
He is angry that none of the Israeli-Arabs in the Israeli government have condemned the attack. They are supposed to be “representatives,” and Mahamid does not feel represented. Mahamid DOES condemn the attack!
He is brave for speaking out against the bloodshed! We need to hear more of this!
